Furthermore, Dr. Doherty is an Accounting and Financial Management Executive with more than 20 years of professional experience and skills in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business Management, and Educational Technology. He possesses more than 15 years teaching and training experience gained in various academic environments in Europe and United States.

He is currently a Visiting Professor of Accounting and Financial Management with Southern New Hampshire University and DeVry University.  Dr. Doherty has worked in both private corporations and public organizations. He is an expert in auditing and investigation techniques, forensic accounting methods, statistical analysis, data management and interpersonal skills. He is proficient and certified in Oracle, Lawson, SAP, Great Plains, and PeopleSoft Financial Reporting Systems. Dr. Doherty is a member of International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP), Inc., USA. He is committed to the promotion of the  excellence in forensic investigation for the  fight against white-collar crime globally.
